Here comes the authentic delicious kambu dosa recipe prepared with whole grains. This traditional dosa is very healthy and tastes heavenly with a combo of kara chutney. We know kambu / bajra / pearl millet is very rich in iron, fibre and other minerals. So lets include kambu in our diet in a healthy way.

Ingredients
Kambu / pearl millet or bajra - 1 cup
Idli dosa - 1 cup
Urad dal - 3 tbsp
Vendayam pwd (fenugreek pwd) - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Instructions

Add idli rice, kambu and urad dal in a mixing bowl.

Add water and wash well.
3.
Drain water and add 2 cups of water and soak it.
4.
Let it soak for 3 to 4 hours.

Drain water.

Add to blender and grind to smooth batter.
7.
Transfer batter to mixing bowl.
8.
Add salt and vendayam (fenugreek pwd) to the batter.
9.
Mix well with hands and close with lid.
10.
Let the batter ferment for 6 to 7 hours.

Once the batter is fermented, stir the batter good.

Heat a dosa pan.

Add a ladle full of batter in the hot pan, and spread in concentric circles as shown in video.

Drizzle oil to the sides.

Cook dosa on both sides until crispy and golden.

Remove from pan.

Healthy and delicious kambu dosai is ready.
