Paneer Jalfrezi | Restaurant Style

Ingredients
Paneer - 150 g
Sliced onion - 1/2 cup
Sliced capsicum (red & green) - 1/2 cup
Onion paste - 1 cup
Tomato puree - 1 cup
Tomato ketchup - 2 tbsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Cumin - 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Turmeric pwd - 1/4 tsp
Red chilli pwd - 1 tsp
Coriander pwd - 1 tsp
Garam masala pwd - 1/2 tsp
Fresh lemon juice - few drops
Dried methi leaves - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Instructions
1.
Heat oil in a frypan.
2.
Add sliced onions, red & green capsicums and saute.
3.
Remove and set aside.
4.
Add 1 tbsp of oil and heat in frypan.
5.
Add cumin seeds and wait to splutter.
6.
Add ginger garlic paste and saute.
7.
Make paste out of one onion and add to pan.
8.
Saute until the paste turns light brown.
9.
Add tomato puree and saute until oil separates.
10.
Add turmeric pwd, red chilli pwd, coriander pwd, garam masala pwd, cumin pwd and salt.

Toss good.
12.
Add 1/2 cup of water and saute.
13.
Add dried methi leaves and stir.
14.
Squeeze few drops of lemon juice and stir.
15.
Cook for 2 mins in low flame.
16.
Add sauted onion & capsicum (step 3)
17.
Add paneer slices and combine.
18.
Toss in high flame.
19.
Turn off flame.
20.
Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
21.
Lipsmacking delicious paneer jalfrezi is ready.
