Bored of regular plain parathas for dinner? Here comes the super tongue tickling masala paratha recipe. This soft and flaky parathas tastes absolute divine with a combo of raitha or with pickle. It is prepared by adding some flavorful Indian spices and herbs to the regular paratha dough recipe. Due to its delicious taste, its a popular recipe in most of the Indian restaurants. Ingredients
Wheat flour - 2 cups
Turmeric pwd - 1/4 tsp
Red chilli pwd - 1/2 to 3/4 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
Coriander pwd - 1 tsp
Cumin pwd - 1/2 tsp
Saunf pwd - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala pwd - 1/2 tsp
Ajwain - 1/2 tsp
Dried methi leaves - 1/2 tsp
Fresh coriander leaves - handful
Sliced green chilli - 1 tsp
Sliced onions - 2 to 3 tbsp
Grated carrot - 1/4 cup
Yoghurt - 3 to 4 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil as required
Instructions
1.
Add wheat flour to mixing bowl.
2.
Add turmeric pwd, red chilli pwd, salt, ginger garlic paste, coriander pwd, cumin pwd, saunf pwd, garam masala pwd, ajwain, dried methi leaves and mix.
3.
Add sliced green chilli, onions, coriander leaves and grated carrot.
4.
Add 1/4 cup of curd and mix.
5.
Sprinkle little water just enough to knead to smooth soft dough.
6.
Cover and dough with damp cloth and let it rest for 5 mins.
7.
Make small balls out of dough.
8.
Heat a dosa pan.
9.
Take a dough ball, dust with flour and roll to thick round disc.
10.
Place it in hot pan.
11.
Drizzle oil to sides.
12.
Cook on both sides, until the paratha is golden brown.
13.
Add a dallop of butter on top & remove from tawa.
14.
Repeat the same with all the dough.
15.
Healthy and flavorful delicious masala paratha is ready.

It combines excellent with raitha, plain yoghurt or with any curry of your choice.
