Muffins make a very delicious, healthy and nutritious evening snack treats for kids as well as adults. This decadent and sweet choco muffins can be prepared at home so quick & easy too. They make out perfect for breakfast, snack time, brunch or as light dinner. Lets see how to prepare the best chocolate chips muffins with this easy video recipe.
Wheat flour or all purpose flour or maida flour - 1 & 1/2 cup
Powdered sugar - 1 cup
Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
Baking pwd - 1/2 tsp
Unsweetened cocoa pwd - 4 to 5 tbsp
Egg - 1
Yoghurt - 1/2 cup
Milk - 1/2 cup
Oil - 1/2 cup
Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
In a mixing bowl, add flour, powdered sugar, soda pwd, baking soda and cocoa pwd.
Seive to remove lumps.
Mix the ingredients well and set it aside.
Grease the muffin tray with oil.
In a bowl, beat the egg.
Add yoghurt, milk, oil, vanilla essence and beat till frothy.
Pre heat oven to 200 degree celcius.
Now add the wet ingredients to the bowl with dry ingredients as shown in video.
Add choco chips and mix gently.
Fold the batter until it is just mixed to smooth consistency.
Take care not to over mix, this makes the muffins hard.
Scoop the batter and fill 3/4 of muffin tray.
Sprinkle some chocolate chips on top.
And bake for 20 to 25 mins or until done.
Insert a bamboo skewer and ensure if it comes clean. (this shows the muffins are cooked perfectly)
Leave the muffin tray in the wire rack and allow to cool for 10 to 15 mins.
Yummilicious homemade chocolate muffins are ready!
