Ingredients
Beetroot - 2 to 3
Ghee - 4 to 5 tbsp
Milk - 1 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Cardamom pwd - 1/2 tsp
Cashewnuts - 8 to 10
Instructions

Clean and peel off the skin of beetroot

Grate to fine shreds.

Heat ghee in pan.

Add cashewnuts and saute to golden.
5.
Drain and set aside.

Add 2 tbsps of ghee to same pan.

Add the grated beetroot and saute in low flame.

Cover and cook for 10 mins.

Stir and add milk.

Cover and cook for another 10 mins.

Now you can see the beetroot is completely cooked and soft.

Add cardamom pwd and sugar.

Stir well.

The sugar dissolves and the mixture starts thickening.

Stir once in a while until the halwa starts leaving the sides of the pan and reaches rolling consistency as shown in video.

Add a tbsp of ghee and turn off flame.
