Preparing the very popular beverage kesar Badam milk or almond milk at home is very easy, if we have the badam milk powder at home. Today I will share with you how to prepare this simple recipe with quick video below. This delicious drink is prepared by blending the powdered nuts and gently flavored with cardamom. The beautiful color imparted due to saffron makes this rejuvenating drink very inviting and favorive among kids as well as for adults. This can be enjoyed warm or cold!
Badam / almonds - 150 g
Cashew - 100 g
Pistachios - 100 g
Walnuts - 50 g
Turmeric pwd - 1 tbsp
Cardamom pwd - 2 tbsp
Saffron strands - 1 tbsp
Sugar - 100 g
Heat a pan.
Add all the nuts one by one and dry roast in low flame, until it turns light brown.
Turn off flame and allow to cool.
In a blender, add sugar, turmeric pwd, cardamom pwd and saffron strands.
Blend well to smooth powder.
Add the roasted nuts and blend to coarse mixture.
Homemade Kesar badam milk powder is ready.
Transfer to air tight container.
It remains fresh and flavorful for 3 to 4 weeks.
To Make Kesar Badam Milk:
Add 2 tbsp of kesar badam milk powder to chilled or warm milk.
Healthy & delicious homemade Badam milk is ready.
