Ingredients
Bay leaf - 20 g
Cinnamon - 20 g
Cloves - 20 g
Green cardamom - 20 g
Nugmeg - 10 g
Javithri / Mace - 10 g
Black cardamom - 10 g
Star anise - 10 g
Saunf / fennel - 20 g
Cumin seeds - 15 g
Coriander seeds - 20 g
Instructions
1.
Heat a frypan.
2.
Add all the ingredients and roast in low flame.
3.
Roast till good aroma arises from the spices or approximately 5 mins.
4.
Turn off flame.
5.
Let it cool.
6.
Add the spices to blender and grind to smooth pwd.
7.
Aromatic homemade garam masala pwd is ready.
