Today’s recipe is a delicious mouthwatering snack Chana Samosa. This chat recipe is very popular street food of Indian cuisine.The spicy taste of the crispy samosa topped with chana masala gravy and yoghurt, mint chutney and sweetchutney is absolutely divine. Ingredients
For Masala:
Kabuli Chana / Garbanzo beans - 1 cup
Oil - 2 tbsp
Cumin - ½ tsp
Onion - 2
Ginger garlic paste - ½ tsp
Tomato puree - 1 ½ cup
Garam masala pwd - ½ tsp
Chana masala pwd - 2 tsp
Red chilly pwd - ½ tsp
Coriander leaves
Salt to taste
To Prepare Chana Samosa
Samosa - 2 no.s
Mint chutney - 1 tbsp
Tomato ketchup - 1 tbsp
Tamarind chutney - ½ tbsp
Chilly sauce - 1 tsp
Yoghurt - 1 tbsp (optional)
Chopped onions - 1 tbsp
Chopped tomato - 1 tbsp
Sev - 1 tbsp
Chat masala pwd - ¼ tsp
Chopped coriander leaves
Instructions

To prepare Chana Masala:

Wash and soak chana overnight
3.
Drain the water and add the chana to pressure cooker
4.
Add 1 cup of water and cook until the chana is cooked well

Keep it aside

Heat oil in a frypan
7.
Add cumin seeds and wait to splutter
8.
Add finely sliced onions and fry till transculent
9.
Add ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute

Add tomato puree and mix

Add garam masala pwd, chat masala pwd, chana masala pwd, red chilly pwd and salt

Mix and cook in low flame until the masala thickens and oil separates

Now add the cooked chana along with the water

Stir well

Taste and adjust salt and seasonings

Simmer the flame and cover the masala with the lid

Allow it to rest for 10 mins

Now turn off the flame

Add finely chopped coriander leaves

Now flavorful chana masala is ready

To make Samosa chana chat:

Take samosa in a serving plate

Crush it well

Pour the prepared chana masala over the crushed samosa

Top it with mint chutney, tomato ketchup,tamarind chutney, yoghurt and chilly sauce

Finally garnish with finely chopped onions, coriander leaves and sev
