Eggless Chocolate Cake / Moist Chocolate Cake
A rich dark, moist Chocolate Cake, will be almost everyone’s favorite & is a hit recipe among the kids. This delicious chocolate cake can be enjoyed by the vegetarians too. ! Also, this recipe being a sooper-easy one, it works great with baking beginners ! This delicious cake is prepared with chocolate / cocoa pwd and all purpose flour. Try this soft chocolate cake, and satisfy your chocolate craving with a heavenly taste… :)
Maida / all purpose flour - 1 ½ cups
Cocoa pwd - 4 tbsp
Baking soda - 1 tsp
Baking pwd - ¼ tsp
Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
Lemon juice - 2 tsp
Granulated sugar - 1 cup
Cooking oil - ¼ cup
Chocolate chips - 2 tbsp

Keep ready the microwave pan by greasing it with some oil and line up at bottom using butter or wax paper.
In a mixing bowl, add water and vanilla essence.
Mix well and add lemon juice, sugar and oil.
Mix well until sugar is completely dissolved.
Sieve maida, cocoa powder, baking soda and baking powder twice to remove any lumps.
Add it to the above wet mixture little by little, and mix gently.
The batter consistency shouldn’t be too thick or watery..
Fold in choco chips and give a quick stir.
Pre heat oven to 180°C for 10 mins.
Pour batter in greased pan. Gently tap to remove any air bubbles in the batter.
Bake it at 180°C for for 30 to 35 mins.
Insert tooth-pick, if it comes out clear, cake is ready.
Give it a standing time of 5 to 10 mins.
Then gently transfer cake on a cooling rack.
Cut into pieces and enjoy by sprinkling some powdered sugar at the top...:).
