Okra Pakoras are fabulous savory fritters, which is apt recipe for a rainy day at home...! Yesterday, I prepared it by chance, but it turned out very yummy. Nothing feels better than sitting by the window on a cold rainy day, munching on piping hot pakoras and sipping on masala chai. It also teams up perfect with tomato ketchup or mint chutney. Ingredients
Okra / Bhindi - 250 g
Red chilly pwd - 1 tsp
Turmeric pwd - a pinch
Cumin pwd - ¼ tsp
Dry mango pwd - ¼ tsp
Besan flour - ¼ cup
Rice flour - 2 tsp
Oil to deep fry
Salt to taste
Instructions
1.
Wash okra, wipe dry on absorbent paper.
2.
Cut both edges , and slit into half.
3.
In a bowl, add red chilly pwd, turmeric pwd, cumin pwd, dry mango pwd, besan, rice flour , salt and combine .

Add the slit Bhindi and mix it well so that its get coated with bhindi.
5.
Just sprinkle few drops of water, so that masala stick to bhindi.
6.
Now heat oil in pan.
7.
Drop gently the masala coated bhindi in hot oil.
8.
Keep the flame in medium and deep fry to golden brown color and crispy.
9.
Yummy and crunchy Bhindi Pakora is ready to munch with fried rice.
