Ingredients
Dry peas - 1 cup
Oil - 1 tbsp
Asafetida pwd - a pinch
Mustard - ¼ tsp
Cumin - ½ tsp
Split urad dal - 1 tsp
Red chilly - 2 or 3
Grated coconut flowers - 3 tbsp
Curry and coriander leaves
Salt to taste
Instructions
1.
Soak dry peas in water for 7 to 8 hrs.
2.
Pressure cook the peas by adding half cup water and little salt.
3.
Heat oil in pan.
4.
Temper with asafetida, mustard, cumin, split urad dal, red chilly and curry leaves.
5.
Add grated coconut flowers.
6.
Taste and adjust salt.
7.
Sauté for a minute.
8.
Add cooked peas, mix well.
9.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
10.
Healthy, tasty Peas Sundal ready to be offered as prasadam to God ..
