Pakoras are a favorite in India…! Generally are made with besan flour..but in this recipe pakoras are made with Ragi flour…!!
This is a very quick and easy recipe that can be served as crispy and spicy snack..!
Also this healthy pakoras serves as perfect n very fulfilling evening snack, when teamed up with hot cup of tea and sure it impress our kids…!
In general, Ragi has a number of health benefits like cooling our body, treating diabetes, cardiac diseases, etc. It is rich in Iron, minerals, protein and has high nutritive value…!
Here comes the easy n tasty recipe…!
Ingredients
Ragi flour - 1 ½ cup
Rice flour - 4 tsp
Green chilly - 4
Onion - 2
Ginger garlic paste - ½ tbsp
Fried gram - 2 tbsp
Saunf - ½ tsp
Curry leaves - handful
Salt to taste
Instructions
1.
In a mixing bowl, take Ragi flour, rice flour, chopped green chilly, fried gram, onion, saunf, ginger garlic paste, salt and finely chopped curry leaves.

More the addition of onion, more tasty the pakora…!

Sprinkle very little water and make soft dough
4.
Heat oil in frying pan.
5.
Drop ragi mixture little by little here and there in hot oil in small batches.
6.
Deep fry to dark brown and crisp.
