Aloo 65 is an amazingly tasty and easy snack recipe..!! In this recipe, the cooked potatoes are mixed with a spicy mixture consisting of coriander pwd, red chilly pwd & ginger garlic paste. It tastes lipsmacking, when they’re hot & crunchy. It serves as an excellent starter snack and everybody loves to have..! Try this simple & delicious Aloo 65 recipe and share your comments..:)
Ingredients
Potatoes - 2 to 3
Red chilly pwd - 1 ½ tsp
Coriander pwd - 1 ½ tsp
Garam masala pwd - 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Corn flour - 1 ½ tbsp
Maida flour - 1 ½ tbsp
Yoghurt - ¾ cup
Chopped garlic - 2 tsp
Split green chilly - 1 or 2
Curry leaves - a twig
Red food color - a pinch
Salt to taste
Oil to fry
Instructions
1.
Wash and cook potatoes until it is three-fourth done.
2.
Allow to cool and peel off the skin.
3.
Chop the potato into fine bite-sized cubes.
4.
In a mixing bowl, add 1 tsp red chilly pwd, coriander pwd and garam masala.
5.
Add ginger garlic paste, corn flour and maida.
6.
Add salt and mix well.
7.
Finally add yoghurt to it and make a thick paste.
8.
Add finely cubed par boiled potato pieces.
9.
Mix well, so that the potato cubes are coated well with the marinade.
10.
Allow to rest for 5 mins.

Heat oil in a fry pan.
12.
Add masala coated potato to hot oil.
13.
Fry to golden brown in medium flame.
14.
Drain aside in a kitchen towel.
15.
To prepare gravy, heat wok with 2 tbsp of oil.
16.
Add finely chopped garlic, split green chillies.
17.
Sauté for a minute.
18.
Add fresh curry leaves and toss ahead.
19.
Add ½ cup of yoghurt, red chilly pwd, salt & red food color (optional).
20.
Allow the mixture to boil for a minute.
21.
Now add the golden fried potatoes to this.
22.
Keep the flame in low medium and stir gently.
23.
Once the gravy turns dry, turn off the flame.
24.
Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves or mint leaves.
25.
Serve aloo 65 hot with some tomato sauce or green chutney & enjoy... !
